goodbye 2009

Year is about to end and for the first time I have decided to look back and see what I have got in this year. So I started counting my achievements. And as I started counting I encountered with my failures but thank to god there were very few of them. So my first achievement was to pass the engineering this year, many people can think that its not an achievement, but for me its nothing less. The another achievement was that I didn’t got 40s in my last semester [;)] (now you can guess why passing engineering was an achievement). But there was one thing I regretted about ;my passing without placement. That was the time I wanted a job and I even filled a form to become LIC agent thank god they didn’t find me fit for that.

But as someone has said “There are no failures - just experiences and your reactions to them”. I started everything fresh, everything new. I enrolled myself in a coaching institute to do the thing I never wanted to do. There after sometime I started feeling something I had forgotten long ago. I got the feeling of winners. Yes I was the batch topper. And I tried my best to retain that position. Hopefully I also get on the top in CAT. I have my fingers crossed.

This year I got the new hobby of reading books . I always loved them but I was never sure to make it a hobby. I realized why people say that books are man’s best friends , I made friendship with them and that’s the best gift presented to me by the year 2009. With the help of this new friend I realized my strengths , I got my confidence , I changed my attitude, I changed my nature. Now I am also in the league of persons who say that books does talk.

When you want something , when you really desire for something, when you get desperate for something , I believe that you get that. I was also desperate to get a job offer before I start my MBA and by the end of year I got one and the story behind that is also interesting.

And its 2009 when I started posting in this blog(I had created this blog 2 yrs back, but lacked the courage to write.) So by the end this year has made me one of the happiest person in the world. And this is the time I must say a GOODBYE to it and prepare to welcome the new year with joy and happiness.

The first post

Hi friends as the name suggests its the first ever post I am writing. So I’ve no idea what to write about. The world is so happening that one can choose from a range of topics as diverse as sports and studies, films and politics, agriculture and aeronautics, and than being a human i got confused about what to choose. And so i decided the best thing is to introduce myself.

This is me Ashok Singh. I have recently pursued my Engineering degree in Computers from the university of Pune. I had done my schooling from the Kendriya Vidyalaya(s). And currently I am preparing for the CAT exam. That is all about the academics. And coming to my hobbies and interest, I like reading books, playing computer games, watching movies...

That's enough about me( I still have to know myself more) and now Its my lunch time so i am going for that.So will come back soon to write my next post. Hope that I remember that I have started this blog. And also I will be very thankful to you if you send me some idea about what to write.
